Leaking Coolant is Not Cool

If your Volkswagen or Audi is leaking coolant, the water pump may have failed. There are a few places where the pump fails:

• the housing splits

• the o-ring leaks

• the plastic part connecting to oil cooler breaks

• the pump goes bad

When the water pump is replaced it should last another 100,000 miles.
